Galltec-Mela offer a comprehensive range of measurement and control instruments for a wide range of applications incorporating the use of Hygrostats, humidity and temperature sensors.

The Polyga range of products use the robust Polyga sensing element for the measurement of humidity with either resistive, current or voltage outputs for use in room or duct measurement.

Some advantages of the Polyga element are:

  • Robust and well suited for applications in high humidity
  • For Hygrostats and passive transmitters no power required
  • Can be cleaned in water

The Mela capacitive element for the measurement of humidity can be used in air conditioning systems, building management control and ventilation technology. This range of products also offers current or voltage outputs for duct or room applications with displays and controllers.

Some advantages of capacitive measurement are:

  • Good response time
  • Large temperature range of application
  • Good linearity
  • Small hysteresis
