Maxtec oxygen sensors

Maxtec oxygen sensors are designed to provide simple and convenient but accurate analysis of oxygen concentrations in atmospheres ranging from breathable air to industrial environments.

They include sensors with smart alarm states to alert the user to a result outside the acceptable range, as well as handy portable analysers for use in outdoor and mobile settings.

Some examples of Maxtec oxygen sensors and other detectors/analysers in their range include:

  • Handi+ O2 analyser for convenient spot-checking in clinics, hospitals and at home.
  • Handi+ N2 analyser for spot-checking of nitrogen gas levels.
  • Max 250 for oxygen testing in presence of acidic CO, CO2 and NOx gases.
  • MaxO2+ for simple, portable testing where alarm states are not needed.
  • MaxO2ME for low-maintenance oxygen monitoring with smart alarm states.
  • UltraMaxO2 analyser for flow and output pressure of oxygen concentrators.
  • Maxtec Neonatal products for oxygen therapy and jaundice treatment.
  • Maxtec Scuba range for scuba diving applications.
  • Comprehensive range of replacement sensors for almost all applications.

Envin Scientific stock and supply all of the above ranges, and welcome any enquiries about the most suitable product for a specific application or replacement oxygen sensors for existing equipment you have installed.

You can also find datasheets for the above listed products on the individual product pages here on the Envin Scientific website, to help you make an informed technical decision about what you need.

Maxtec Neonatal range

The Maxtec Neonatal range includes several products that are suitable for use in neonatal healthcare environments including Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs).

Providing the best level of critical care to newborn and premature infants is a sensitive area, and Maxtec Neonatal products aim to deliver to the highest of standards for such applications.

They include the Maxtec Neonatal Superdome, a simple oxygen dome for infants with a perforated flap for ‘one size fits all’ rapid implementation in emergencies.

Meanwhile, Maxtec phototherapy masks are for use on neonatal patients undergoing light therapy for jaundice, and filter out harmful wavelengths of light while allowing ‘good light’ to penetrate through the mask.

Together these products help to improve comfort and enhance outcomes for neonatal and premature patients undergoing common therapies such as oxygen therapy and light-based treatments for jaundice in the very first days of their life outside the womb.

Maxtec Scuba range

The Maxtec Scuba range includes oxygen analysers that are appropriate for scuba diving applications in addition to other environments like home care, clinics and hospitals.

Their rugged construction and simple operation makes them easy to use during scuba diving excursions, providing immediate spot-checks of oxygen concentration with many hours of use due to low power consumption and high-capacity batteries.

Maxtec Scuba products include Handi+, a simple disposable oxygen analyser with one-touch calibration, auto switch-off and a 24-month warranty.

Both the MaxO2+ A and MaxO2+ AE models are also suitable for use in scuba diving settings.

MaxO2+ A is equipped with an internal sensor and measures in at 3 x 4 x 1.5 inches and 170g in weight.

MaxO2+ AE is the external sensor equivalent, measuring 3 x 3.75 x 1.5 inches and 285g in weight.

Both models are impact resistant and drip proof, making them suitable for use in environments where they may be dropped or splashed, such as on scuba boats.
