Optical Filters & Components
If you need an optical filter or component for use anywhere from 175nm in the ultraviolet to 25 microns in the far infrared Envin can help. In-house design and manufacturing is supported by the highest standard Spectroscopic measurement instrumentation.
Advanced Performance Filters
The Envin proprietary “Energetic Ion” deposition process is the result of an intensive research and development programme. Benefits for high precision filter users in the extensive wavelength range of 300-8000nm include excellent adhesion, hardness, durability and temperature stability – even with very thick and complex coatings involving hundreds of layers.
Optical Thin Film Coating
Envin has it’s own Optical Thin Film Coating Capability for Multi-layer Dielectric Coatings. This enables the design and manufacture of new filters with bespoke performance characteristics. Rapid prototyping of new products is a speciality.
Gas Sensors
Envin stocks a comprehensive range of gas sensors for the detection of most gases including Carbon Monoxide, Methane, LPG, Ozone, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen and Toxics. In addition many sensors are available within easily integrated ‘Linear Output Electronic Modules’ which are pre-calibrated and temperature compensated.
Lighting and projection components
Envin can supply optical components (lenses & reflectors) for all lighting and projection applications including the latest Aspherical lenses, Dichroic reflectors and High temperature Dichroic colour filters.
Infrared Illuminators & CCTV accessories
Envin is the company which pioneered IR security lighting in the UK. We can supply a wide range of IR illuminators and associated filters for use with CCTV systems. Filters to enable ANPR systems are a speciality.
Optical Cements and accessories
SUMMERS Lens Bond optical cements are synthetic polymer adhesives manufactured under the strictest quality control. They are filtered to remove all particles larger than 1 micron in size, and filled under clean room conditions. These cements will meet and exceed military environmental specifications. LENS BOND Optical Cements are easy to use.
